HOW DO I BOOK WITH NOEMI?
We book up to 1 year in advance. For non wedding appointments you can book online or contact Noemi. For weddings please fill out the inquiry form in the Weddings Page, call or email. If your wedding is more than a year in away, please check back when you are 12 months out. But, don’t wait too long! We book up very quickly and work on a first-come, first-serve basis. 1 year out is the perfect time to book.
HOW DO I SECURE MY WEDDING DATE WITH NOEMI?
Your date is secured only if we have 1) signed contract and 2) 50% retainer of contract total.
I'M NOT SURE HOW MANY PEOPLE WANT HAIR AND MAKEUP DONE FOR MY WEDDING DAY.
Please make it a priority to ask your party if they will also like services in order for us to give you an accurate proposal and quote. Once numbers are added to the contract there may be a penalty depending on how far in advance any services are removed. Numbers can be increased but we do take multiple bookings and we may have not be able to accommodate extra services. Your artist/s is booked and scheduled based on the numbers you provide. For these reasons, we appreciate an accurate count as soon as possible.
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF WEDDING DAY SERVICES REQUIRED TO BOOK?
Saturdays a minimum of 2 services. Each service individually counts as 1. Flower girls do not count toward the total.
DO YOU PROVIDE PRE-EVENT HAIR/MAKEUP, WHEN AND WHY IS IT RECOMMENDED?
Yes! We highly suggest a pre-bridal session of one or both services so that you can see your wedding day look and meet your artist/stylist. It is a great way to get an idea of what you envision for your wedding day. Seeing how a style you have in mind looks on you will allow you to make any modifications if necessary. Pre-bridals consists of full consultation of hair and/or makeup and take place at the studio or your location. It takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes per service. So, if you are getting both hair and makeup, please allow for 2.5 hours at your appointment. Pre-bridals can be booked Mondays - Thursdays ONLY and must have a signed wedding day contract and paid wedding day retainer. Pre-bridal makeup rate is 110, hair 115. If you need to book your pre-bridal on a weekend the rate will be increased.
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY PRE-EVENT SESSION?
We prefer to work on CLEAN, DRY hair. We only offer dry-styling as a pre-bridal service, so please arrive with completely dry hair. Whatever you are going to do for your wedding, try to do it before the pre-bridals as well so you can get a clear idea of how it will all work together (example. wax, facial, spray tan, etc.) The first step to beautiful makeup is well-prepared skin. Bring your accessories if you have them. (Veil, hair jewelry, extensions, etc).
DO YOU COME TO ME AND IS THERE A TRAVEL FEE?
Yes, we will travel to you. Austin - A travel fee will be incurred for distances more than 15 miles from downtown. San Antonio - A travel fee will be incurred for distances more than 15 miles from W. Bitters/Blanco Rd. in San Antonio.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE YOU ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE?
We can accommodate as many services as you choose as long as it is on location and we have availability for your wedding day.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR EACH PERSON?
As a general rule, bridal party takes about 45 minutes to an hour per service. Bride takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes per service.
HOW MANY STYLISTS WILL BE AT MY WEDDING?
The number of artists depends on the amount of services booked in combination with the amount of time we have to get you ready. A lot of venues don’t let you in until a certain time, so be sure to check with them when considering your get ready location.
HOW SHOULD I DETERMINE "READY" TIMING BEFORE THE CEREMONY?
That is the time that the stylists need to be completely finished with hair and makeup. Please take into consideration travel to the venue if you are getting ready at another location other than the wedding venue, getting into your dress and photos (if you are taking first-look, robe photos or group photos). We recommend at least 45 minutes buffer time before your photos or ceremony if you are not taking photos before.
WHEN IS MY WEDDING FINAL BALANCE DUE?
At least 7 days prior to the event. You can pay ahead of time if you’d like as well. We will send you a reminder 7 days prior.
WHAT KIND OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT FOR WEDDINGS?
We accept Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay. No Checks. You can find the information for payments at If you choose to pay in credit/debit please let us know and we will send you a link to pay through Square.
IS GRATUITY INCLUDED?
A 15% gratuity for total services is added to the final balance payment.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Any cancelations 60 days prior to the wedding date the client receives only 25% of the non-refundable retainer. Cancelations or subtracting number of services less than 60 days prior to the service date only retainer and any other balance payments made by the client is owed and is non-refundable.
*COVID-19 POSTPONEMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS
In the event Clients determine that a postponement of the service is necessary due to Covid-19 health concerns, Clients must Notify Noemi Alvarado within 30 days of the original service date. Noemi Alvarado will allow Clients to reschedule the service one (1) time within a 12 month period of the original service date without a rescheduling fee or changes to the hair and/or makeup package pricing. The retainer and all other payments made by Clients up to the date of rescheduling due to Covid-19 are non-refundable and will transfer over to the rescheduled service date. The final balance remainder due by Clients under this Agreement will be moved to 30 days prior to the new rescheduled service date. Clients understand and agree that it is their responsibility to work with Noemi Alvarado to find a mutually agreeable rescheduled date. Noemi Alvarado will give Clients first choice of all available dates on its calendar within the 12 month period.
If Clients determine not to reschedule and cancel the services altogether, or choose a new service date that Noemi Alvarado is not available for, the retainer and all other payments made by Clients are still non-refundable, such payments will be credited to Clients’ account, and credit may be used for any type of services offered by Noemi Alvarado within 12 months from the date of cancellation. Should Clients fail to Notify Noemi Alvarado of any postponement or cancellation within 30 days of the original service date, Clients forfeit the retainer and all fees paid.
After the first courtesy postponement, in the event Clients reschedule the services again, a rescheduling fee of $250.00 will apply for each subsequent postponement thereafter and Noemi Alvarado reserves the right to increase its package pricing. This clause supersedes all other clauses under this Agreement for Covid-19 related postponements and cancellations only.
